The premise on which The Compact Camera is based, is that if digital compact camera users of all levels share their experiences by contributing an article, a worthwhile and informative resource will be developed.

So if you use a compact camera, all you need to do is share your experiences.

You can write about a particular photograph you have taken, sharing the camera settings you used or explain how a particular camera feature enabled you to get the perfect shot. Alternatively you can focus on aspects of composition and how applying basic principles helped you capture a better image.

We also need contributions on “camera gear”. Write about your camera, sharing with others what makes it a brilliant all round compact or why you never leave home without your tripod.

This all said, please keep things on the up and up. If you are writing about a photograph, you took, then it really must be your own photograph. You can’t use profanity or insult people or organisations. Needless to say, this is not a porn site, so please do not include links to nudity or anything that your average person may find insulting.
